Estonia onboarding details

The incorporation route and fee depend on whether the founders can sign digitally with Estonian e-Residency or an Estonian ID. Standard AML review must be completed before either route begins.

Offer provided 2026-04-16. Government and third-party fees should be reconfirmed before engagement.

AML/KYC onboarding

  • The scope of review depends on the client's risk profile, and additional information may be requested.
  • Completed onboarding questionnaire. The questionnaire is currently being revised and will be provided during onboarding.
  • Identity-document copies for the client's representative and all other founders, where applicable.
  • An explanation of the client's field of activity and business when there has been no direct contact with the client.

Additional measures may include

  • Notarised versions of identity or supporting documents.
  • Additional clarification about the purpose of a transaction or activity.
  • Evidence concerning the source of funds, including bank-account statements.
  • Payment of the first fee from a bank or payment account located in the EEA.

Incorporation information

  • Whether each founder holds Estonian e-Residency or an Estonian ID
  • Proposed company name and legal form
  • Shareholders, UBOs, management-board members, and any supervisory-board members
  • For each relevant person: address, email, date of birth, and identity code where applicable
  • Chosen share capital, recommended between EUR 0.01 and EUR 2,500
  • Principal business activity and corresponding EMTAK code
  • Foreign contact address, phone number, and email
  • Estonian registered address and any required third-party identification
  • Financial year, typically 1 January to 31 December

Before and after formation

  • Standard AML procedures must be completed before the incorporation process starts.
  • The incorporation information is required before drafting the power of attorney or filing the Commercial Register application.
  • Accounting services are generally recommended from the company's first transaction.
  • A third-party registered-address provider may require separate identification under its own conditions.
  • Government, notary, courier, translation, share-capital, banking, accounting, and VAT costs are not included unless explicitly stated.
